I went to salem for some work. I search for a hotel at moderate budget level, there found this residency, which is located very near to salem new bus stand - just few minutes walkable. The double bed room we opted was compact and good enough with needed facilities. No food facility was there except coffee or tea. We can our food at the nearby barbeque restaurant and vasantha bavan hotel. Also its was easy to get the bus to see various places in the city. One can choose this hotel for short stay. From here, we can also enjoy a trip to yercaud hill.

Spacious rooms but with no accessories in rest room. We booked a triple bedroom through booking.com, but on arrival we were given double bedroom with extra bed. The check-in process took more time, even after we shared the e-mail confirmation received by us, they insisted on verifying their hotel's mail, which they couldn't recheck due to slow net connection , which is not good for a hotel. They do not have in-house restaurant, since it is opposite to new bus stand, plenty of options are available. Suggest to take a room, which is not facing the main road to avoid noise during the night.

Bad hotel with very poor service

I booked this hotel for me and my family (3 People) for Rs. 1460. The reception guy (who stays during early morning) was rude and unwelcoming. He took extra deposit money while we check-in. Our room wasn't cleaned for a week at least. It was dusty. Toilet was pathetic. Tap was leaking and also the commode was leaking and dirty water was on on the floor. It made the toilet stink. The reception guy didn't bother to tell us that our price includes morning coffee. We realised after we checked out. The funny part was, the reception guy was so shameless that he even asked us to leave the whole deposit money as tip. Basically, he was reluctant to give back the deposit money. When I said I won't give tip for experiencing such a bad service, he made us wait to give back the deposit money. This hotel is not value for money, not for couple or family. Most of the hotels (including this one) in Salem is used by bachelors who come over here to drink, smoke and other wrong purposes.

I went there for some work. Just to spend a night I booked this place. This is one of the most cheapest hotel I HV ever booked. So you get what you pay for. Nothing great about this place room were old but clean. Staff is very helpful. As I had language issue so they help me a lot.

Average decent hotel for low budget

Its not excellent as we booked non AC room just for refreshment of 2 to 3 hours. But its good than I expected for that price. Rooms and toilets are clean. They provided free beverages in Morning. Staffs are well behaved. Got nice stay with in my budget.
